To revist this article, visit My Profile, then View saved stories. On Wednesday night, the Colonial Pipeline Company, which operates the country’s largest pipeline system for refined oil, reported that the 5,500-mile system was finally up and running again, with service slated to return to normal by week’s end. It had been four days since the pipeline went down in a historic and frightening ransomware attack. And yet, as of Thursday morning, cars continued to snake around gas stations up and down the Eastern seaboard, waiting their turn to fill up at the tank. Turns out that if you tell people something is threatening their petroleum supply, they will freak out and buy a lot of it. The National Association of Convenience Stores reported Wednesday that stations are doing two to four times their usual business, with some retailers clearing several days’ worth of gas around 16,000 gallons per station in a few hours. London Bridge terror attack could not have been prevented, says MI5 officer

LONDON: A senior officer from MI5 on Thursday denied that the British security agency could have prevented a deadly terror attack in London, despite receiving warnings that the terrorist wanted to “die and go to paradise.” Usman Khan, 28, killed two people and wounded three with a knife near London Bridge in November 2019 before being shot dead by police. The attack happened less than a year after his early release from a prison sentence for plotting to bomb the London Stock Exchange. An inquest into the deaths of Jack Merritt, 25, and Saskia Jones, 23, at a prisoner-reform event in Fishmonger’s Hall, next to London Bridge, has heard that Khan was allowed to attend the event despite concerns from some officials that he posed a security threat.

Minnesota Moves To Mandate Electric Vehicles, NoDak to follow?

Minnesota Moves To Mandate Electric Vehicles, NoDak to follow? Under a new plan being put in place in Minnesota, you won t be required to purchase an electric vehicle (EV), BUT nearly 7% of all vehicles SOLD in Minnesota will need to be zero emission.  This all came about  after the creation of an powerful group called the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.  The agency is under the direction of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.  Like our guy, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Governor Walz has been under siege throughout the pandemic.  Very few people ordering lockdowns, shutdowns, and mandating mask wearing, can capture the hearts and minds of the
